Mike was reading the directions and he noticed that you can upload step files that you have made for songs up to Xbox Live for everyone else to download.
Has anyone tried this? Are there any available online for download? I've never changed the steps for songs before, but it sounds like a fun thing to do.

I've never traded with anybody since I don't have an X-Box, but it is pretty easy to make steps in Edit Mode.
There is one problem with that feature: You cannot see what edits you are downloading, and you have to download all (up to 5) that a person has uploaded. As a result, it is will be really hard to find what you want, and you have to cut out the fat.
There should be some official edits to download from Konami soon. They'll be like the missing stepcharts for the songs that originally had multiple Maniac/SSR/Heavy stepcharts and for songs that had additional Oni stepcharts. Maybe they'll even have the official KCET DDR Festival stepcharts for the songs in the Songpacks that had horrible steps or too many freezes (i.e. Something Wonderful). Until then, there are people on Live that have at least the Oni/Maniac2 sets of steps available for download.

There are a number of users hosting step edits on Live now. You just go into that section of the Xbox Live area of Ultramix 2 and you'll see a list of who has uploaded.
I've downloaded a number already, though I haven't gotten around to playing them all.

How To Download Step Edits:
On Xbox Live, go to Player Rankings. Choose Download Edit Data
There are tons to choose from. When you download them, they end up in your list just like the rest of your music with a logo on the left of the song that says edit.
I was looking for them on Download Content and they weren't there, so I was confused.
