I am new here, but not new to DDR, got it in Dec. 03. I really love it. Now that it is getting cold outside again I have been doing it a lot more lately. Anyway...... How many of you use xbox live? I am trying to decide if it is worth getting. I keep weird hours and I am at work all day and a student at night so early morning and weekends would be the only times I would be available. Are they people out there during the morning hours? Thanks for the help~ that is assuming I get any responses. KE

It is worth getting Xbox Live for, if nothing else, being able to download the songpacks. There are 30 more songs for Ultramix that you can buy 5 for $5. Otherwise, I hear playing online is fun. The problem is that sometimes pads show up as controllers, so you never know who is schooling you from a comfy couch. Otherwise it is nice to get some competition other than at the arcade.
You Xbox people get all of the cool features. Except Quad Mode. Quad Mode is a retarded feature. Nobody has that much floor room.

Xbox Live Totally ROCKS!!!
Playing people online is cool, but I haven't been able to find anyone on that early in the morning.
The songs that you download are totally worth it. I have a thread about the song packs in this forum. Find it and it should give more info.
I was really reluctant to go live, but now that I'm there, I can safely say it's totally worth it. I played DDR with a guy from Ecuador once. That was cool.
As far as people playing with controllers, I don't care. I was playing with a little girl once and this was the conversation:
Girl: I'm sick. My mom told me I shouldn't play, but I really want to.
Laura: If you're sick, stop playing with the pad and use the controller. Then you can play and you won't make yourself worse.
For some reason, she listened to me and found out that DDR is hard to play with the controller too.
