Tell Me About The Song Packs

We are thinking about getting Xbox Live just to download some PGR 2 packs. Should I bother with the Song Packs for UltraMix.

I've found the UltraMix game to be so much harder to play than the arcade or the StepMania versions that I'm reluctant to even bother with these Song Packs.

Do any of them have easier songs? There are only a few songs on UltraMix that are easy and I was hoping that the Song Packs be an apology for this.

Could anyone tell me whether they are worth it or should I just stick with StepMania?

Xbox live just for the downloads probably isnt worth it. If you start to play some of the games online, you will be hooked. Then its worth it.

I downloaded all of the Song Packs. They are great! There are some easy two footer songs that are good if the songs that come with the machine are too hard for you (they were when I started).

For fun, there is "Heaven is a 57" which is so rock-a-billy that it's a surprise after all the techno we've been dancing to. There is also "AfroNova Primeval." I had played that at the arcade and loved it, even though I barely cleared it and almost lost my tokens. Both of these songs are hard, but they are totally fun to play.

I'm going to make a complete list of all of the songs with their BPMs and footers so that you can decide it the song packs are right for you.

I hope this is helpful to those who want to know if they should splurge on the song packs or not. This would have really helped me when I was trying to decide whether it was worth it to get on Xbox Live at all. Once I saw these songs, there was at least one song in each pack that I wanted, so I have really enjoyed all of them.
