I still love Ultramix but does anyone know if there is going to be another DDR for Xbox anytime soon???

I have not heard anything, I have a feeling that they will see how this one does with the premium download content and then decide.
Right now, they dont have to fork out so much cash for a new product when they can keep putting out these song packs every month or so.

I don't know. I have a feeling that Ultramix is going to be another Konamix, has nothing to do with the main series mixes, but given to us to make us feel special. As far as Ultramix 2, I don't know about that either. The Xbox has nice capabilities, but it's sales are dwindling. It's costing Microsoft money. And if Konami sees that effecting the sale of it's game, it'll pull the game off the Xbox and give it to another system. Similar thing happened to Capcom and Resident Evil. Wasn't selling that well on Gamecube, so they brought it back to Sony and the Playstation 2.
If Ultramix isn't selling well enough, I'm sure Konami will do the same thing. Ultramix is an experiment and if it fails, it's gone. I'd imagine that if they plan to release a second Ultramix, it'll come out. Most likely they'll give it a second chance to redeem itself. That is if sales aren't doing good. If they are, Xbox owners you have nothing to fear. It's all about sales. Ultramix has to compete with the sales of the Playstation and Playstation 2 games. This may or may not sound fair, but that's the video game industry for you.
As far as the song packs go, Konami only planned on releasing 5 song packs. And with the 4th already out, time is running out on that.

Ultramix the the first and only DDR I've ever played. I really want to try it sometime in the arcade, but dont really want to make a special trip.

I think it would be great for another DDR Ultramix to come out.. I'm a bit envious when it comes to PStation status.. They have everything.. As for the talks about Ultramix 2, there is not really any talks about it.. We will just have to subscribe to Gamers mags in hopes of catching a glimps of another DDR for XBOX clip.

do u live that far away from the arcade??? The arcades with DDR are about 30 min away. I figure I can just play it at home instead. |

Whoa, I realize this is really old, but just wanted to clarify that Capcom did no such thing. They brought a half-assed online version of RE to the PS2, but the main series is still Gamecube Exclusive. RE4 hits the Gamecube on January 11th. |
