Hello all, my name is Katie and I'm trying to get healthier by play DDR but I have a question.
Usually I can play DDR for hours on light or standard. Last night I played the Supernova workout mode on random difficult. When I got tired it said I had a total of 20 minutes play time.
I felt really down when I saw that because to me that seems like no time at all.
I was wondering how long you guys play that speed at a time? How often did you play DDR when you lost weight? Any advice would be great. Thanks.
Oh, I'm currently at my highest weight of 213 and really looking to lose. I don't have a specific time frame but I'd like to get down to 150.

It doesn't really matter how long you play, as long as you can get your heart rate up for a good 15-20 min then you would have a successful workout. If you play an hour on standard vs 20 min on heavy depending on your skill level you're probably getting a good workout either way. Everyone has different levels of play and different levels of stamina. Don't let that discourage you. It's a lot harder to play nonstop mode (workout mode) than it is the game where you have moments of rest in between each song where you do your song selection, get a drink, whathave you.

With some it's only a little harder and with others it's a lot harder. I would suggest just staying with Expert, now that you've made the proverbial leap to that level, and work up your stamina by playing it until you feel a bit tired, then go back to Difficult for a song or two, then back to Expert. You'll be doing an hour on Expert in no time!
