I will for sure, theres a minor problem with the new c-box. If someone knows how to fix it cool if not oh well. The start button is being held down, even though the button actualy isnt pushed down. So when i play on my ps2 it keeps pressing start. Its not THAT big of a deal cause i can just play stepmania and i set start / select to x and o. But if anyone knows how to fix it that'd be cool

ugh, good lord. I'm so sorry you're having these problems. You're upbeat at least. I would be disgruntled and bitter for sure if it happened to me.

I play StepMania on my big screen.
You could open up the control box and probably find a short from start to ground, it may be excess solder. You would need a soldering iron to heat the solder and try to remove the short to fix the problem, OR just try to remove the Start button entirely, I think you would then use a PS2 control to push start but once you got to the main screen everything is controlled by using X.
Or harass Red Octane and get another control box, tell them to send one that works.

Well, the pad works GREAT but man if you live in a mobile home its not the best pad to have. The entire house shakes =\I can pretty much only play it when no one is home so i don't disturb anyone, but most the time someone is home =\. I think i would of been better off buying the ignition pad, when i play with my soft mat i dont make to much noise at all i can even play at night when ppl are sleeping, so im sure the ignition would make it even more silent. Dont get me wrong if any of you are thinking about buying it, it's an awesome pad, just not good if you live in a mobile home =p

Hmmmm, well the major difference there is the foam insert.
Maybe you can go to the local foam shop and buy their densest foam big enough to go under your afterburner and then some? But that probably wouldn't work well to be playing on an uneven surface with a metal pad... I don't know if there would be that much of a difference with a soft pad though, I used one in an upstairs apartment and the down stairs people complained that I shook up their whole apartment when playing, so then I moved to a downstairs and the upstairs neighbor complained and this was on ignition pads.
I argued my right to workout and was permitted to play but I had scheduled hours. I've since bought a house and play all hours of any day, but TBH I kinda liked annoying the neighbors, they would hit the roof with a broom stick or something to let me know they were home and I would pick a very JUMPY song and I would pound on the jumps to let them know I didn't care because it was a scheduled time for me to play.

yes, ignition 3.0 is most definetely the way to go. I've actually bought generic foam insert pads and I had a minor problem with each one. Would have been a major problem had I only owned one system, but anyways... one of the pads wouldn't work with my xbox and the other wouldn't work with my ps2, so between the two of them I had a fully functional pad. Silly though.
