Hello everyone! ;D, I had a couple questions about In the groove, I just ordered it and i was wondering how similar is it to DDR, what are the songs like? Is it fun? what are some examples of songs. How does it compare to DDR? thanx in advance!!!

I have ITG 2 and it is awsome i like the fact that if you loose all your life on a song you just step on the select in the very upper right hand corner and can go on unlike the DDR that you get completely out of the thing to go back in. They have a variety of songs. I dont know the difference between hip-hop and rap but have a few of those plus instrumental and stuff. It was the first one i learned on. I think youll like it of course you have to unlock some songs but it is easy todo

ITG 2 isn't out yet But ITG for PS2 is amazing.

IF you are referring to the ITG2 arcade game it is out but i noticed not many places have it. The first one in Lousiana just came in this month. go to www.itgfreak.com/ or www.itgfreak.com/locations.php and you can tell who has them and where all over the world.

no it wont be out for at least two years after the arcade game according to my son who is 16 and keeps up with all that kind of info. He said that the companys want to make sure the arcades get their use of it and the proceeds first

Of course you and legend have never used the number 2 to mean "too" ever in your time on the boards...

you cant use the thing 2 on a game because it could totally ruin what you are talking about(as shown here).

i.e. i have itg 2 huh if you were going to use 2 use it after the game's name.

New to the groove, new to the group... just bought ITG with 2 red octane pads. I'm enjoying the sweat, and diggin' the game! I think so far my only complaint about the pads is the size of the null-space in the middle. I have size 13 feet and always end up bumping on the up or down arrows unintentionally, but I'm learning that I don't have to stay on the middle at all! Perhaps someday I'll be able to get a proper dance pad, but this suits me for now.

hmm this helped, I may buy ITG. looks fun and more of a workout than DDR with the three arrows at once or so it said in the auction descrpition.

Anyway, my overall comment on ITG is that I like it better, but at least on the PS2 version, it has its share of bugs and glitches. The main one is DO NOT SELECT THE SORT OPTION "TOP GRADE" IN THE OPTIONS MENU, as well as several other little things that could have been done better. It certainly added a new life to the old dance game formula.
