Interesting... I wonder if this is a partnership, or a thrown bone? Given the similarities between Taiko Drum Master and Donkey Konga, I wouldn't be too surprised if this was a compromise to avoid any sort of legal dispute over those games. Sort of like the Furby/Mogwai(Gremlins) dispute that was settled by doing a licensed Gizmo Furby.

Oh my god! I want that now! LOL, that was fantastic. The SMB2 Theme ALONE makes that game worthwhile. Maybe they will release it here...crazier things have happened.
