Okay, so we're starting to experience the expected increase in new members following the holiday season, and I'd like to make these forums a little more helpful for those users.
I'd like to sticky a few threads on each of the boards that answer the typical newbie questions: -What to wear? -How accurate is the calorie counter? -What diet whould I follow? -How much should I play each day? -etc.
I'm looking for suggestions on which threads I should sticky. Ideally, the subject of the thread would be clear, and the content would be largely helpful, with only a few asides.
Just post either a link to the thread here, or the Subject of the thread, and I'll review those threads and sticky as I see fit.
Thanks, guys!

The shin splints thread should be sticky. Maybe you could unsticky some of the older threads (like 'read this before you post').

Great idea. I can admit first hand I've been getting a bit weary of seeing/answering the same old questions.
I suggest keeping the "Read This Before You Post" thread still sticky, atleast on the General Discussion. There's a lot of guests that come on here and ask questions... ones that we've all heard before.
Yippee!

This isn't a reply about your original question, but a recommendation for the forum in general....
;D
There seems to be a lot of teens and twenty-somethings on the boards, which is great. However, being over thirty, and knowing what happens to the body, the stamina, the personal free-time of thirty-somethings, it would be great to have a place specifically for we "senior citizens" of DDR to post and garner support. I would like to ask other over-thirties what their experience with weight loss and DDR has been, and how they make it fit in their life with mortgages, careers, and kids, etc.... those of us who can't hang at the arcade for hours at a time, or spend hours in the basement playing DDR. Ya know what I mean?
Thanks!
Goldie

There are still new members to read it and they're there for a reason.. you can still sticky new threads without taking down old ones. The "read before you post" threads are more like rules..

This is true...
And we have people requesting for a lot of simfiles. Though I'm no innocent, I see Abrann getting frequently annoyed with that.
