an old newbie who hates being bood :(

Seriously I cannot find the book to the game ANYWHERE.

Is there a way to take all of the games little 'comments' OFF so that my 'ol eyes can see the arrows and not the word boo everytime I try to step?

In announcer options there is an option to turn off negative comments and warning flashes. You'll still get the word boo when you boo a step, though.
