Name: Carl activity: DDR (in an arcade) time spent in activity: 1 hr comfort level: 3 feed back: we went to the ruckers last night, my wife and I, and I made up my mind that I was going to play DDR while I was there, it was fairly late so there wernt to many people around but every time I missed a step I felt really stupid. I know it takes practice but at least I got up on the pad this time.

Name: Caroline Activity: Joining the forums (silly, I know) Time spent in activity: about 1 hour so far Comfort level: 5 Feedback: It may not seem like much, but joining this community was a big deal for me. I am a chronic lurker when it comes to posting boards, but I've never actually registered to one before. Worse, I'm talking to virtual strangers about my WEIGHT, something I have industriusly avoided since I was a kid. (Must be a family thing. All my relatives are overweight, but you never hear so much as a peep about it. The only person who mentions it is my sister, but then again she is freakishly in shape )

well Welcome to the community! I havent been here to long myself but everyone I have met on here is nice and friendly so you dont have anything to worry about. I am glad to see your taking part in stepping out, I really feel that its important for anyone with self confidance issues (and even for people without them) to try to over come all their bounderies, "you can do anything" is my new slogan and its true.
best wishes and I hope to hear from you soon.

Welcome second'd. We're usually pretty friendly around here, and I know how you feel about discussing your weight. Here everyone has the common interest of losing weight, so no need at all to feel uncomfortable
