hey everyone, it seems I have come down with a mild cold, with the weather changing and starting to warm up this is a common ocourance for me however it is not normal for me to be playing DDR on as regular a basis as I have been and now I miss it if I cant play for a day so my question to you is this:
symptoms
dry, sore and scratchy throat runny stuffed up nose upset stomach
will exercise help me get over this faster, draw it out more or be pretty much indiffrent towards my plight. I would like to continue but if it makes me worse than I wont be able to play for a longer period than if I had just stoped playing for a bit in the first place.
any insight? thanks all
best wishes.

Sounds more like allergies (pollen counts are very high this time of year). You should be fine to play, just be mindful of how you feel, and stop if it gets to be too much.

Yep, pretty much sounds like what my entire family has around this time of year. Probably just allergies. DDR shouldn't be much of a problem, just stop if it's getting to be a bit much.

Please, be cautious about accepting any medical advice over an anonymous internet forum. Sure, it makes sense to play if you feel up to it and stop if you don't, but really, there's no way for us to know if you have allergies, or if you have cold, or if you have something else. I'm halfway through medical school and I don't know from your post... Why not visit your family doctor and find out if you really do have allergies or not?
ps. I love your signature, spooty, especially the part about being skinny being just one part of being healthy!

dont worry, I am always very cautious about any advice I am given, also I am quite sure its not alergies, I have battled with sever alergies before and I know exactly what they do and dont do to me. this is almost for sure a cold, I did ask a pharmasist about it, he says its a cold as well.
I would go to see my doc about it but it always takes me atleast two weeks to get in unless its and emergency and my colds normally dont last more than a week.
good luck with the medical school, its awsome that you know what your going for, keep with it.
EDIT: I know its not overly important but I am feeling much better today and I think I will have this thing beat by tomorow at the latest thanks for everyones help and I look forward to dancing again soon.
PS Benilin All In One ROCKS for colds!
