That would be a question best asked of your OB/GYN, but my guess would be no. It falls in line with other high-impact, bouncing, exercises that are generally forbidden in the third trimester. My wife is 7 months right now as well, though she has never really played.

Holy crap. Your wife is already 7 months?? Omygod time goes by so fast . Tell me about it. It's like I've got this giant red countdown timer and I have to get a bunch of stuff done before it goes off. Except it could go off up to four weeks before it says it will, or two weeks later.

Don't worry abrannan. Mine came five weeks early - and you'll be suprised how much of it gets done in a single day. You'll also be amazed at how much you don't need to do right this moment.
The dad/husband actually kind of fun in the beginning, once the actual screaming and pain part is over. Not so much for the mom, but it seems to reward them in its own way too.

I got extreme 2 for christmas when I was around 7 months pregnant. I wasn't anywhere near playing heavy I turned off the jump steps and played in workout mode and I absolutely loved it. Also, my daughter (who's now almost 3 months old) always calms down when she hears DDR playing, a couple weeks ago she laid awake watching her dad and I play DDR for an hour and that was the longest she'd been calm on her own awake before that.

To me it really emphasizes how the things you have around you while pregnant will actually affect your child once they are born, by the last few months they are hearing lots of things outside the womb - Or maybe I just turned DDR up too loud before she was born lol

When I was 7 mos preg, I didn't want to get up to walk to the fridge, let alone try to play :-P
Then again, I had the worst pelvic seperation pain.. OWIES!
SO glad my body is back to normal... I'd avoid the jumps and fast steps :-)
