Right now I'm a newbie so I'm still using a cheap $15 pad, but I'm catching on to this game quick and already on some of the faster songs I try the pad will slip a bit and I get all off center and such.
I read a lot of you mentioned the Red Octane Ignition Pad, and I see that's a soft pad. Is that pad better than the metal pads, or just the best in its price range?
Before I found this game I was going to buy an expensive piece of exercise equipment, but this is WAY better so I'm willing to pay for it (unlike a lot of you, I'm not a starving student anymore
) - but I want the *best* pad, not the most expensive.
