I have a PS2..just got a PS1 DDRgame and memory card. I put the PS1 memory card in slot 1. I put the PS2 card in slot 2. When I went to play PS2 game , the screen said something about the memory card loaded in skit 1,,then it asked Continue to Load (my PS 2 card was in slot 2) I tried to press YES but it wouldnt let me. So my question is can I use the card in slot 2 or does it have to be in 1..or what am I doing wrong?
Thanks

What happends when you switch the mem cards? Ps2-> slot 1, ps1->slot 2. Does the PS1 game recognize that the card is in slot 2?

The PS1 GAME ..works with memory card in slot 1. I understand it has to be in slot 1.
Now for the PS2 game to work..does the memory card have to be in slot 1 also or can it be in Slot 2. If it can be in Slot 2..then why does it say..on the screen on PS2 game..card in slot 2 LOAD? and then I press Yes and nothing happens?
In other words should I be able to keep it in slot 2? for the PS2 game. If so how?

The PS1 GAME ..works with memory card in slot 1. I understand it has to be in slot 1. I'll have to poke around with my setup, but I don't think the card HAS to be in slot 1. At worst, you'll have to swap cards out when you switch platforms.

Do I need a memory card at all? If so, what size of memory card do I need? I don't have any at all.
