Just got 2 Free Ps2 to PC ports for my computer with the order of 2 Ignition pads..anyhow they are not your average USB type convertors.. they go through like the printer port..and are just gray and labeless.. So i have no clue where to look to set them up or use them at all. The Analog light, lights up when i press the button on my PS2 controller,so obviously it works.. Just no clue how to set it up(when i try to set up any game including stepmania with the controller or pad it doesnt reconize the controler)

You probably need a driver of some sort. Any identifying information on the adapter that might clue us in to what driver you might need?

start+select+up for 3 seconds will make it recegnize ddr pad No, these aren't the PS->USB connectors, they're the older Parallel port versions that use a gamepad driver. There was a tutorial on ddrmaniax for building your own, but I can't find it anymore.

Yeah, and if I remember correctly you need to write your own driver if they didn't give you one.
They're not very good.
Buy a converter from Radio Shack for ten bucks, there's no latency with those (although it has the joystick axis problem).

Put the converters you got up on ebay and use the proceeds to buy a Super Dual Box USB adapter. $18.99 shipped at electricquarter.com

Yeah dont buy one from radio shack they suck hairy monkey balls, plus they dont work I bought mine and whenever I pressed the arrorows really fast it would frezze, it would also frezze if i pressed 2 arrows at the same time (In which Most players are steping on 2 arrows at once) It was a piece of crap no service help no new drivers. I suggest something on ebay and go look at www.Stepmania.com they have a list of good converters that work ;D

Lik-sang's minimum shipping for that item (global priority) is $5. That brings it to a total of 20.90. The price I quoted ($18.99) has free shipping, and will arrive on average 4 days sooner than ordering from Lik-sang. Who's trying to cheat who out of money?
