Greetings I'm brand spanking new to this whole thing. I was totally motivated by reading this site, that and this morning I discovered I weighed a staggering 223 . The thing is way back in high school I was 260 and somehow (honestly unbeknowest to me since I didn't excerices or eat right) I dropped down to a nice 184! But after getting to college that was away from home, I've gained the 'freshman 15' and then some! Today I'm real proud of myself as I did 30 mins of DDR and I plan to curve my eating some. I have a real bad habit of getting 2 huge slices of chocolate cake everytime I go to dinner at school, so I'm gonna nip that in the bud! Hopefully I'll have support here when I feel like I can't do it..oh and hi!

Hey! Welcome to the boards! I understand the freshman 15 and then some theory, as that happened to me. That's also when I had to A. cook for myself which didn't happen because I was a commuter.. B. stopped playing sports so I was no longer physically active c. started getting negative remarks about my weight from my parents which made me slide faster... Glad that this web site motivated you! hi! sorry I'm so late in getting to this thread, but I hardly ever get into this section of the boards. Welcome though! I hope you stay motivated and all that jazz :-). Good luck with starting those habits, because they're hard to start . Hopefully you'll find the fun in DDR though, and they'll be easier :-).
