Ok I'll speak up and be the granny of the group. 32!!! D@MNIT!!! Yes, I grew up the the 80's. I am so old that I remember how Michael Jackson looked before plastic surgery. I also know what parachute pants and Jams are. As a child I owned an Atari 2600 and a VCR that weighed 200 lbs. I am so old that they actually play the songs from my prom in the elevator now. I AM OLD!!! (rushs off the take vitamin and fiber pill) Wow, I could not let this one go. I will not admit to my exact age, but I will better "granny:" Yes, I grew up to the chant of 'drugs, sex, and rock & roll!" I'm so old I bought Michael Jackson when he was in the Jackson 5. I know what bell-bottoms and go-go-boots are. As a child I owned a record player that only played 33 rpm records. I am so old that the songs from my prom are packaged in "Your decade".....boxes! - And now I'll let you guess, also offering up that I just beat Kukamei on Heavy.......

Well, I'm 28. But my first record player had 78rpm capability.
...and my dad had the Alan Sherman records to play on it.
That same unit also played 8 tracks.
We had the Sears knockoff of the 2600. It played the same games, but was aparently cheaper. And had wood panneling.
I owned a pair of parachute pants back in the day.
I remember the first time that Thundercats and Transformers were cool. I even owned a few action figures.

I remember cutting off 2 feet of hair to get my "pixie" cut... I remember spending hours and hours immersed in reading Harry Potter....oh wait....that was last month.. :s

I'm 16. Not legal enough to do much of anything. I don't even drive. Although, looking back at this thread makes me realize that one day very soon ( in twenty years ) I will be old. Then I can tell my kids that I owned a VCR, a tape player, and an apple computer.

I am 25 but going to be 26 in December, although you'd never know it. I was blessed with the young looks, I still get carded for everything, I even get carded for lotto tickets ocasionally, lol I hardly ever buy them. BTW I don't smoke but I have bought cigars before for my ex-husband, yeah you heard me right. I remeber the 80's, we had a nintendo and the ever famous game that was sure to make my brothers kill each other Mario Brothers. I had a pair of those shoes with Kangaroos on the side with the lil pockets and then I had a pair of LA Gears when I got a lil older. I watched my lil pony and mr potatoe head(that was pretty much all I was allowed to watch other than TBN lol). And I too remeber what Michael Jackson looked like before plastic surgery and turning White. Maybe he should have wrote the song "I think I'm turning Japanese" but instead of that wrote "I think my skin is turning white" No offense but he is white, allegedly a disease, but after all that plastic surgery it kinda makes ya wonder was it really a disease.... thas all I have before I didg myself a hole of no return. WINGS

Somebody to finally hand my 'granny' crown to -LOL! - I'm just a year behind you, stillakidatheart! It will keep us young forever! I've been playing 3 years now, play mostly on Heavy, still go to the arcade to play along with my 20-year-old son/coach, and love it.

Chalk up another count for the "oldies" 26 here. First gaming system was an atari 800, eventually upgraded to 2600 (under 50 bucks! who remembers that commercial?) I remember shows that had morals such as Quantum Leap. Someone posted about how in the 90's everyone just got depressed at once. I don't remember when it happened but I definitely remember the change. Glad to see we have such a diverse group that can get along so well. Keep on hoppin'.
