Post what pad you're playing on.
I have a cobalt flux with arcade mod an old TX-2000 a built pad at my friends house. the arrows need some work but other than that, its fine.

Mostly my 2.0 Ignition, but if it's acting up (the left arrow "stuffing" that provides the gap for the switch is a little tired, so after a half hour or so of play it becomes less responsive) I'll switch to my old LevelSix (company now defunct) pad that has a few rips in the surface.
One of these days I'm going to un-sew the surface pad from the L6 pad and attach the soft pad I got with my copy of ITG (Which is the best soft pad I've ever used).

Nothing at the moment. I had two Ignition 3.0's, but they both died. One completely (right arrow stopped after about 6 months of use), the other is impossible to get new high scores (all the arrows stick, trigger each other, respond early/late (Yes, early sometimes)) after a month or two of use.
Lesson I learned: $80.00 does NOT nesecarily mean a good pad.

A Cobalt Flux. I also keep one Ignition 2.0 still works fairly well and I can't give up, because 2.0's were the best foam pads, and I have one new ignition 3.0 that I only pull out for doubles because 3.0's suck and know it won't last long.

That's my baby... though she's a little less shiny now, but still works perfectly (after a few minor tune-ups)

Unfortunately I'm stuck on a dinky Intec softpad. But at least it's better than my Mad Catz softpad. The Intec has a foam bottom which is fairly resistant to slipping (On carpet, anyway), and the madcatz had a slick bottom (It's like they intentionally designed it to slip). I'd really love an arcade style pad (Or even just a thick foam pad), but unfortunately I have no cash at the moment. Maybe I'll pick up something better if I get some cash for christmas Also, does anyone have a good homebuilt pad tutorial? I have an extra Mad Catz pad laying around that might still work. It's still in the box, but the bottom has been pierced a bit. I used the box as an Airsoft target for my new AEG without realizing there was still a pad in it. I figure if I could get a good guide I could get the materials to build one a lot cheaper than a good store bought pad. And since I'd just be using the guts of the pad, the slippery bottom of the Mad Catz wouldn't really be an issue.

I'm on a modded Ignition 3.0 (one of the most unreliable lines of pad in the business, stay away folks). This one had a right arrow which died after about 6 months (died in the middle of Euphoria Expert, so I guess it WAS getting a fair amount of abuse). Replaced with proximity sensors, which are really hard to get just right, but works well enough after a while.
My other 3.0 has been ghosting since about 2 months into its use.
And my Official ITG pad (flat mat, although best I've seen as far as flats are concerned grip-wise) has overlapping back and left, which makes for great annoyance.

ooh, do that last one.
Ignition 3.0, Ignition 2.0(PS2) and my afterburner. for those of you wondering how I use three pads, two are connected to my PC.

I have a CF mat at home, but rarely play anymore.
I am going to be getting back into it soon. The place I go to is NickleMania, it costs 2 bucks to get in, and DDR is 4 nickles (20 cents for the math-impaired...just kidding) for 5 songs. Good place to practice.
