i have a redoctane ignition pad. i love it. my friends who have those generic pads love it too...however i'm borrowing a friend's cobalt flux pad for the summer and i quickly see myself buying one after i return his. i have been using both pads but i really do like the cobalt flux pad. i've had my redoctane pad since december and i play mostly heavy on it now and it's holding up just fine. i play in socks, no shoes.

I had a RedOctane mat that crapped out on me. Rather than spending $30 to get it fixed, I went to Toys R Us and bought an Intec Ultimate Dance Mat. Its the SAME thing as my RedOctane was, and it works perfectly, if not better than the other one did.

Just an update, I finally gave into peer pressure from my friend and bought a Cobalt Flux dance pad. It is absolutly amazing! It works perfectly. Expensive, true, but worth every penny!
