Hahaha. It's funny. Since I've started playing, I've gone to bed a few nights dreaming of arrows and movements and seeing myself playing the game. I guess that is the beginning stage of addiction.

I see them at bedtime too.
It's better than having random numbers jump into my head after a day getting stuck doing data entry.

I'm not sure how long you all have been playing, but it's something more common in people that either have been playing for less than a month or people who play over 6 hours a day.

I'm playing heavy and first played ddr at the end of summer. I do not play more than 6 hours a day either. I think it has more to do with the flashing lights making repeated light inprints in your retina, thus its not a mental thing but a physical which happens to all people. But maybe your eyes are different..

Don't hate, don't hate. I am a newbie and totally admit it. Week two baby and I'm hitting some strong As and Bs on standard mode. It's quite an accomplishment for me. Let's hope I can keep going strong.

I don't play at night anymore because of my arrow dreams.

I don't play at night because I get too hyped up and can't sleep. Learned that one the hard way. I'm sure the arrow dreams will go away with time. The dreams of endless random numbers did too.

Funny... when I play Halo at night I get too hyped up to sleep, but when I play DDR the second I hit the mattress I'm out cold.

Yup I see 'em at bedtime too, and, for some reason, when I listen to ANY music. It plagues me! . But never just after I finish the song. Maybe in the beginning, but I think I musta gotten over that at the 1 year mark.

Hehe, i saw arrows all the time when i first started playing. Very quickly an addiction was built up and i would just have songs click in my head from DDR that i couldnt stop humming or something like that. Its gotten better in the past year. I'm use to the songs on the Extreme machine, so they arent new to me at all. I think that would change if our arcade ever got a 4th or 5th mix though Ive also had dreams of playing...and i fell ? anyone else dream of falling and embarassing yourself?

Falling, yes. Embarassing myself, no. But I don't play in an arcade, and my roommate and my boyfriend both know me too well for me to care about embarassing myself in front of them. (I don't play in any arcades for the fear of embarassing myself). As for humming songs . . . I'm notorious at work for buzzing around the kitchen humming songs no one else has ever heard of. Love Shine is one of the ones that gets stuck in my head, as is B4U, and Kind Lady is an absolute addiction.

Did you say SIX HOURS I'd be dead if I went six hours. People can really go that long??

Did you say SIX HOURS I'd be dead if I went six hours. People can really go that long?? Sure, I think the world record is up around 26 hours, and honestly, that hasn't really been stretched.

I've caught myself sort of scatting out the tune to Tomorrow Perfume when bored.
The arrows, thankfully, have started to go away. Mostly because I have thirteen other projects on my mind now.
