max 300 is simple to do if u r good at ddr.why not try it on standard then work your way up.or try ledgend of max.if those arent suitable then try maxX unlimited on standard.or go back to xenon! Max 300 IS rather simple, as I said, I just don't have enough stamina. I can easily pass MaxX on Standard, and TLOM is 1,000 times harder than Max 300. Xenon is nothing for me either.

I'd just like to score an A or higher on "Love Love Sugar" on standard. That would make me extremely happy.

I agree; the gap between 9-foot and 10-foot is very large when it comes to stamina drain. The closest 9s come is Cartoon Heroes, and I can do that without too much of a problem. I still can't do Max 300, though. Maybe I need something non-DDR to gain the proper stamina. I'm not really in a hurry to pass the tens anyway. That's only six stages out of 256 at the Extreme machine, and I can live with not passing those six. Out of the tens, only MaxX and Legend are very good songs anyway. (Sakura and Bag not counted for obvious reasons) And StarDrifter (wow, this doesn't sound like something I would normally say...): Stay at it, but don't focus in on it exclusively. It is great to get an excellent score on a song, but it is even better to develop more universal skills that will make your scores better for songs across the board. So, keep at the other ones too ;D.

ok just tell me your goal! Uh...my goal is near the top of the page here. Passing all 10s is one of them, but that really is long term. The other goal is more of my current focus.

Hahahahaha.
It was really funny that Ryanddrfreak didn't even read that whole thing, and then they totally neglected your post about your goal.
Anyway... Drop it like it's hot.

Max 300 is very easy if you have stamina and can recognize the beat.

Well done! My goal for DDR is getting my own arcade machine hooked up in my bedroom. That would be way more awesomer than a little ps pad. Im just going to my room to do my homework...
By the way, does anyone know how much the proper new machines for arcades cost?

By the way, does anyone know how much the proper new machines for arcades cost? You an pick up a used DDR machine for as little as $3500. new machines (w/ Extreme) will set you back about $8000.

Any of a number of ways. You can install a PS2 or Xbox in the cabinet. You could purchase the boards (rather than a full system). You could install a PC with Stepmania.
There's a guy on the site I linked to that built a total Bemani cabinet. He has Beatmania, Pop'n Music, DDR all in one cabinet.

In the Navy (x2, hidden, dark, boost) Heavy - A with only 2-3 goods, almost AA. HAHA.
Healing Vision (Angelic Mix) (x2) Heavy - A
A (x2) Challenge- A A (x2) heavy - AA
Rhytam and Police (x2) Heavy - A
Paranoia Ethernal (x2) Heavy - A
Drop Out (x1.5) Heavy - A
Frozen Ray (x2) (with spins, basically not looking at the screen for the middle of the song and going around in a circle pattern) Heavy - A
V (x2) Heavy - A
Can't Stop Fallin' in Love (speed mix) (x2) Heavy - A
Max 300 (x1.5) heavy - N/A (only can get up to the freeze)
Legend of Max (x1.5) heavy - N/A (only up to freeze)
All done on my good old konami thin pad that came in the bundle with max, max2, and extreme. Woot Woot! (only played for about 1 year, never play in arcade before either!)

I'm looking to AA a MAX song on heavy. It looks like Max 300 will come before MaxX Unlimited, those jumps combined with the eighth notes in Unlimited just kill me.
I'm working on SDGing A, and Sync on challenge. I won't go for a AAA yet, I've only AAAd Let The Beat Hit 'Em on heavy, not getting greedy for them yet.
*runs back to arcade to practice*

I would like to AA Max 300 (almost there with 60 greats or so..just have some misses). I would like to AAA quite a few songs... Ive SDG'd a lot of songs.. some of them are 9 footers...like Stoic or End Of The Century..but i havent been able to pull out a AA, not even easier songs like Kind Lady or Keep On Movin. I still end black flagging the song or getting below 10 greats on it. After a while it kinda gets annoying =/

I wanna get at least an A on holic. The beat really annoys me holic is in 7/8(time signature, for those not so musically inclined) isn't it? Or am I thinking of another song?

I think you may be correct. Although I have never really stopped to count the time, I have noticed its lack of a common beat... 4/4.
It even feels weird when songs are in 3/4, such as Cutie Chaser.
