I just started playing, so my weight loss hasn't really been worth discussing yet. I've lost a couple lbs, but nothing you could argue is directly related to DDR....but i'll check back in when/if i start losing some worthwhile amount of weight. Hopefully it will be soon

Well, I'm a 24 year old 5'11" male and I just started with DDR and I've lost 25 pounds in about a month. I started at 290 on May 12th, and I weighed myself on Monday June 7th, and I was 265! I'm burning about 650 calories a day on DDR and keeping my calorie intake around 1500 (though, admittedly it has been falling below). Also, I only drink water now. I've completely stopped drinking sodas. I've never felt better, so even when I reach my goal (170) I want to continue with this. DDR for life!

I find it quite funny that you say you can beat me. Especially on a forum that you seem to be a lone poster on.
Oh yeah, my name is Gerard Gustilo, the "other dude" with Tanya on the Today Show. In case you don't know, I've been playing DDR since November of 1999, and have been involved with DDRFreak.com and am co-webmaster of Bemanix.com, a Southern California based bemani website and one of the oldest on the net today.
As for me replacing Matt, I don't know Matt, nor do I know why NBC chose to not use him. So you saying that he would have been better than myself is nothing more than a biased statement to something no one had control over.
Also, in terms of you being able to "defeat" me at DDR, I'm so over that competitive phase that it's not even funny. Say it to someone who cares, I'll still run tournaments and play just for fun, not to fuel the ego of a person like yourself.
Have a nice day, I'll be checking here more often now.

Heh, I figured so. I've known Tanya probably longer than most of you guys, so don't think I'm not "in the know" about these things.
