If they did get a rythmic punching bag, they could target hand contacts sports like well.. duh.. boxing, as cardio training and hand corrdination skills.
If they could do that, it would make a great to for a boxer. I use to box ameatuer and I can tell you ddr would be for training your boxer to constantly keep the feet moving so he isn't flat-footed.

yeah, they could make like 3 circles on the bag, one for the head, another for the shoulder area and the bottle for maybe low blows

that's so cool, is he going to let u play on it for free? It will be for free, but only to gym members. He seems real interesed, after playing it a couple of times ( Xbox and PS2 versions), so we'll see what happens.

and he's thinking about getting a ddr 'machine'? not just like a ps2 with max and max 2 or ultramix. If he's really getting a new machine, that would be awesome, but i imagine that alot of people would want to play it and the waiting line would be so freakin long.

Yeah that is the problem he knows, he may have to face. Plus there is the assurance of proper maintenance when needed. Oh yeah, he is looking to do an arcade machine, and not a game console machine.
