Wow, that's really impressive about the weight. Also about Sakura. That song is too fast on 2X for me; I can't position my body correctly. Its all skill baby

Yes! First day playing Doubles ever, I beat a Standard 7-footer (Bizarre Love Triangle), and I beat a Heavy stage (Drop the Bomb -- only a 6-footer, but still pretty intense).
Update: I beat SEVERAL 7-footers, including Only You Heavy Double (which is the same as the single, except that you are constantly shuffling back and forth to the rhythm).

doubles cost too much at the arcades, unless if the machine is set to joint premium, i usually don't play doubles

The arcade I go to has token plays on Wednesday for all music games, so it costs two tokens to play doubles on Wednesdays ;D.

It is unfair, but it pulls in the players. I know of people that drive all the way out from Des Moines (a 2 1/2 hour drive) just to play at those prices. They have to play quite a few times to make up for the gas money!
A few US Extreme Heavy Doubles scores (all are 8 footers): Neverending Story - C Kick the Can - B Absolute - B A Stupid Barber - B
Kick the Can is insanely fun. It is like they took the single version and just stretched it out!
BTW: I'm not claiming to have become decent at Doubles overnight. The truth is that double stages require a certain number of single techniques and a certain number of double techniques. These four stages mostly require single techniques, so they come more naturally to me. There are still 6-foot double stages that I am struggling with!
Edit: I guess Kick the Can and Neverending Story had their ratings changed for this game. They are both really 7s. Oh well, still VERY fun.

CSFILSM - B (First time I've ever played it on Heavy) Maximizer - B (Second try)
Looks like I've broken into 9 foot territory. It's about time, I've only been playing for 2+ years. I guess that's what I get for being an old fart at this game.

LOL, definitely good job. CSFILSM is NOTORIOUS for stamina drain, so you must be doing well on that front! And didn't you already beat Tsugaru (Apple Mix)? That is a 9, although an extremely easy one.
Just get down crossover gallops, and you can go play Rhythm & Police on Max. It is at the same tempo as CSFILSM with similar (but less crossover-intense) streams and a few gallop streams.

That is a 9, although an extremely easy one. I guess I have to change my tag text, then Yeah, I beat Tsugaru Apple Mix, but I don't consider myself as being able to play a difficulty until I pass at least two ro three songs at that difficulty, since the ratings have a lot of variance in them at the higher levels. Once I'm done unlocking Extreme, I'll go back to Max/Max2 and hit the heavies on there.

Isn't Maximizer a 9? CSFILSM is probabaly one of the hardest songs I can think of, purely for the crossover and stamina (or lack thereof) factor. Tonight I got 1 good on the Kick the Can... which I STILL have yet to full combo, but I think I got like 35 Gts... Abrannan, try Afronova or So Deep, THOSE are stamina testsers.

Nope, Maximizer is an 8.
Woo! Just did CSFILSM Heavy Double! My first cata in Doubles (other than Paranoia KCET, which doesn't even count in Doubles).
Anybody who wants to slow songs down in Extreme US and has another US DDR game: Go to edit mode, open the song with official song data. Copy the entire song to clipboard. Open up a song that can hold the steps and paste the steps. Save, then export that song. Put in the other game. Import the song, then copy the steps to another song that has a similar length and probably a reasonably close BPM. Then go to training and load the Edit data.
Yes, it is a lot of work, but CSFILSM was much easier after practicing the steps transferred to Broken My Heart.

Uh...sorry.
Translation: I beat Daikenkai Single Oni at the arcade today. I only got a C, and I almost died at the end (so the Danger and shark were flashing in the background).
Daikenkai Oni is probably the hardest 8-footer to not be upgraded to a 9.

Oh, I see, I don't really pay attention to the backgrounds during the song heh heh.
I have Daikenkai as a simfile on my PC and it's pretty tough on oni... I probably couldn't do it.
