I would want it, but that would not be a good reason for me to buy a PS3. Not like there's any other reasons to buy at this point anywho...

I wish square enix wasn't so selfish, because think of how much money they would make if they released the newer Final Fantasies on Xbox, PS2, and Wii (even different versions on both would be cool).

Yeah, that is true, but I've still always thought of Square / Enix as being one of the more pure gaming companies, based on the fact that they do strive for excellence, despite their one-system bias mindset.

personally I love the FF series, I belive I have played them all (except online) and I loved them all right up to number 10, 10 two was just kinda weird and really didnt have the final fantasy feel to it but I am looking forward to 12.
on to the mini debate, I think Square / Enix should stick with only one system, I like the fact that its exclusive and the time they would spend on re-programing so the games work on the other systems goes into production instead, however I do agree that they should release the old titles on the other systems.

sorry got side tracked there, anyways while I do agree they should cross platform for the old games I dont think they should for anything new that is being released, keep it exclusive I say.

Speaking of FFVII inequities, I've noticed that with both my FFVII and Castlevania: SOTN copies they skip during cinema scenes and stuff, and sometimes just downright freeze up. Anyone have any clue?

I had that issue before, I had to replace my play copy of both games to fix the problem, unfortunatly aparently these games are both very suseptable to what I call "dust scratches" very very tiny scratches that can come from cleaning the disk even with a lint free cloth.
EDIT:
xstatic that just sucks, I had someone rip off my origional cartridge of chrono trigger and my xenogears, I managed to get xenogears again but had to settle for chrono trigger on the playstation (the remake) I wish you luck and recovering you lost treasure and I will let you know if I find a copy here as well.
(ps on the topic of videogames I am looking for lunar silverstar story complete with the cloth map and leather bound hard cover book the collectors set, please let me know if you have it for sale)
best wishes all.
