I'm pissed. The dude who works there is pretty cool and all. There were a few of us there (as in 3) and he said 'Okay, do this song on Normal and Very HArd, and we'll average them. I got all perfects on the Normal, and 1 great 1 boo on the Very Hard one. This other girl got about 3-4 greats on the normal, and 6 greats on the Very Hard. I blame the miss on the B and A buttons on the pad. So, I called when I got home and asked for the score again, added them up, and my average was better than hers. Then he said that it was to 'throw us off' and that he only took the scores from Very Hard. WHAT THE HELL. You wanna know what else? That girl works there. She knows all of the employees there too, naturally. I'm cancelling my Mario Kart DS preorder and getting it from Target.

I'm not sure what you were talking as to where you were... in EB? And there was a copy of ITG?

I think the missing part of the message was that EB had a contest at some of the locations to win a copy of DDR Mario Mix. Obviously, as with most of these in-store competitions, all of the details were left up to the individual stores, allowing employees to change the rules at whim to give the game to whomever they feel like.

ooooh. Well since I don't have an EB, this didn't make sense. But if I did, I'd boycott their asses too. That's a bitchy thing to do.

Dude uh it's only like a rule that employee's aren't allowed to participate in such competitios. Every Retail store I have worked in has never let it's employees participate in any promotional contest or contest at all. I would contact their corprate office and ask them about it if I were you cause something doesn't sound right about it. I hardly ever shop there anyways cause I can get it at Wal Mart or any of the major retailers and if I can't find it there then I buy it online. WINGS

yeah, I don't do business with EB anymore, they're morons. There's a microplay up the street from there, I just get everything there.

How nice it must be to have a choice in the matter. We don't have any competing chains down here in DC. No GameCrazy, no GameRush, no MicroPlay. Once EB bought Gamestop, it was game over.

It's like when I walked into Gamestop one time and asked if they had In the Groove. The guy squinted his eyes, scratched his head, and in a mocking way said, "Are you serious? That game from like, 1997?" I didn't say anything. "You meant BUST-A-MOVE, right?"
I said never mind, and left.

Pshhh they are so stupid. It's like you HAVE to be a moron to work there...it's a requirement =D [sarcasm on] Of course, every EBGames/Gamestop employee should be required to know the differences between every version of every niche game they sell. Especially for that whopping $7/hour they get paid. [sarcasm off] Sorry, the EB bashing was getting to me a little.

Hey - I didn't say they did... but I do have to say that they lack any sense of customer service 99% of the time and treat you like shite.... that is, of course when it's run by bratty self righteous teens/college kids. Management is usually pretty cool/nice/helpful/etc.

Eh it's my opinion and according to ur thingy Ab...I have the right to it =D That's true, just as I have the right to my opinion. I do tend to give people the benefit of the doubt more than most, I guess.
