Overall, the DDR community didn't receive Mario Mix well. It's pretty much only alright it if it is your first game, because it is geared entirely toward beginners.

I think Dance Factory is available, but that game isn't recommended.

No, Dance Factory was only available for PS2, but there is MC GROOVZ , don't play it!

So uh... avoid the cube for dance gaming. my recommendation is to buy a USB pad and use StepMania.

Yeah, but SM can be very difficult for anyone who doesn't have very consistent accuracy to use, seeing as there's the whole mess of needing to sync up your computer perfectly.
I'd start with DDRMAX2 or ITG for PS2, personally.

Yeah, I suppose you're right. I was merely trying to provide an alternative option to people that had a gamecube but didn't have the money to go out and purchase a new system, game and pad.
