So it has been quite a long time since I've posted anything here. I gave up on DDR during my first year of college, it's kinda hard to do with all the roommates and crap going on. Well anyway, that was a big mistake because I gained 20 pounds! Well now I have an apartment at school for this year so I have to buy groceries and what not. Well I learned about this new diet where you drink a glass of water before, during, and after each meal. The guy that started it lost 70 pounds in 7 months and there have been many newscasts and what not about it. Doctors told him that the diet is not scientifically proven but it appears to work for him and it is not unsafe to drink roughly 9 glasses of water a day. So, your opinions, comments, rants, and what not on the effectiveness?

I wouldnt really consider that a diet. You are just drinking more water, and filling yourself up with that instead of the food. You'll just be eating less.

Whether or not a diet like this will work for a given person is really more dependent on what it is that that person is doing that's causing them to gain weight. If portion control is a problem, this might help. If you tend to overeat even when you're full, this may not help so much. If you make bad food choices, this may not help so much. etc. etc.
