I was looking at BMR calculators and my BMR keeps coming out as 2800 O.o
That can't possibly be right, can it?

It could be. It really depends on your weight, but think about it. If you're, say, 300 pounds, then your body has to have the muscle underneath it all to support and move 300 pounds around. You're going to burn significantly more energy than someone who only has to transport 160 pounds.

Something else to keep in mind is your level of fitness. People who exercise regularly have higher metabolism and will burn more calories at rest.
