I'm new to DDR-as-exercise and I've got a ton of questions that you may see sprinkled about the boards.
For this thread, I'm looking for suggestions on playlists:
-- What songs do you use to warm up/warm down? (including level and speed variations)
-- I'm mostly looking for heart-pumpers, not necessarily tricky steps (my coordination can, ahem, be a little less than desired). Anyone have some good suggestions on songs, and/or settings that help attain this goal (for example, I've found I prefer to run songs at progressively higher speeds, without upping difficulty level)
-- Do you have a basic routine you run through or do you tend to randomize? (even if you tend to change the routine every so often, anything you're doing now would be informative)
-- I'm using DDR extreme. I've created my own short playlists in the nonstop mode, but is there any way to program in more than 4 songs? More than 3 custom lists?
-- Is it possible to set challenge mode courses so that you can play through songs regardless of the lifebar? (sometimes my feet and brain take a while to get connected. I want to be able to play through to the end of the song, even if I screw up lots.)
-- What other methods do people use to set playlists?
Any other suggestions to how all of you approach a workout session would be really helpful.
Thanks!

I use easy peasy songs like Bad Routine, Radical Faith, Busy Child, Days go by, A little bit of ecstasy, Love at first sight, and stuff like that to warm up, I don't usually do much more than 1 or 2 songs for warmdown, but they're the same things. 2.) I guess I can try and recommend Can't Stop Fallin' in Love Speed mix, Rhythm and Police, Paranoia KCET, Healing Vision (Both of them.) A lot of 9 footers aren't too tricky, but just fast with stream. 3.) I usually do four to five songs for warmup, then I do a hard song, one or two easy ones, a hard song, and so on and so forth until I become too tired to play. It depends on how hard of songs I try that determines how long I work out. 4.) I'm not sure of the next few, sorry. I don't use any of those types of things. I'm sure Abrann could/will be able to help.
