That's only about 9 weeks to lose 40 pounds.. That's over 4 pounds a week. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's not necessarily healthy to lose weight that quickly. You could safely lose maybe 20 pounds, which, since you're already getting closer to your goal, IS going to make a big difference.
If you feel like you're losing motivation, I don't think it's wise to make huge goals and have deadlines that you'll be disappointed if you miss, and feel like you've failed yourself even though you've come SO far and done so well. I'm sure you'll look great in December.

i think the goal is slighly unhealthy, but im sure that its possible. you say that you are losing motivation, well thats why we are all here to help you! also, school should be a great motivation for you. Also, you could buy a pair of pants and have your motivation be to fit into them, but maybe thats a girl thing, who knows.

I got a question, about how many calories does jogging a mile burn?
Thanks Jesse

I got a question, about how many calories does jogging a mile burn? Thanks Jesse It doesn't work that way, unfortunately. Your weight, speed you run, general fitness level, heart rate, etc. all factor into how many calories get burned. For example, Me, at ~170lbs, 80 bpm resting heart rate, who takes 10 minutes to run a mile (in small bursts) will burn more calories running a mile than a 150lb track star who can run a sub 5 minute mile, if for no other reason than it takes me twice as long, with my heart most likely beating a lot faster during the run.

Well thats what i figured but I wasnt sure so decided id ask. Im still not doing to good, im trying to get back into the groove but its hard. I was working my ass off before and was dropping like 2 pounds a week sometimes more then I got off track and im slowly catching back on if i would have stayd ontrack i would probally have met my goal by now oh well. Im gonna go buy some more exercise equipment stuff and get back into my routine.
Thanks Jesse

Ummmm, I think of what I used to look like before I started losing weight. And if I eat that HORRIBLE HORRIBLE food, i'll get that gross again. NO THANKS!
