Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the calories burned calculator is a bit....er...inaccurate. Seems I burned 20 calories in like 2 minutes on a standard 5 footer song. I'm 5'4" and 190 pounds. Granted I work up a sweat when I play, but the numbers seem a little high. Is there anything more accurate to figure out actual calories burned? Or, am I an idiot and these figures actually ARE acurate? If this has been discussed in the past, I apollogize. I've looked around a bit and seemed to have missed it if it HAS been discussed! Thanks

I find that the DDR calorie counter is not accurate at all (although not nearly as bad as the ITG one..)
I usually just figure out how long I played and look up approx. how many calories I would burn doing a "high impact aerobic workout" for that long. I don't trust the DDR calorie calculator.

I've never played max1, but I doubt it. Because why would they go from accurate to completely off?
Yeah, it's not very accurate at all.

None of them are accurate, and they never have been. I've found the only good use is to use the calorie counter as a relative measure of how intense your workout was, i.e. If I play 20 minutes of 9 footers and burn 700 "calories" that's about an equivalent workout to 30 minutes of 7 footers (also reporting 700 "calories").

most counters on machines are inaccurate, even when you go on a treadmill or that sort of machine its still inaccurate, but sometimes i like to believe they arent, haha, go ahead and eat that extra brownie *sneaky face*
