Hey all,
I'm new to the boards, but after trying DDR at my brother's over Xmas break, I went all in and got myself a PS2/DDR Extreme, and a Dance Pad. I'm 28, and have been putting on weight since I entered grad school 5 years ago.
I finished up last June, and have been making up reasons not to eat right and exercise more often. But enough is enough. The time has come for me to quit being lazy and exercise some discipline. So I'll be around trying to get all the pointers I can.
One quick question.....I'm kind of a diet coke addict, and although I think I'm doing right (i dont' drink regular soda and drink plenty of water), I've heard reports of aspartame hindering weight loss and others that help it. Anybody have any personal experience with this??
Thanks for all of your help and best of luck to everyone!!!

All I can say is don't take away the crutch until the leg is healed. If Diet Coke keeps you from drinking or eating less healthy food, then keep with it until you can drop it without feeling deprived.
