I was just wondering, what is a safe amount of weight to lose in one month? I see people saying they are trying to lose 10lbs in one month. Is that a safe amount?(I'm not trying to offend anyone so if I sound offensive I'm sorry) I'm just rather curious

That's not offensive at all. Safe weight loss is a big concern. The general rule of thumb is 2 lbs/week for extended, safe, weight loss that you intend to keep off. However, this is an average. For example, I lost 20 lbs in my first 8 weeks of the South Beach Diet, which is more than 2lbs/week, but I wouldn't say I lost weight at an unhealthy rate. I also don't expect to continue to lose that much weight each month. A lot of factors come into play with safe weight loss. Target weight, current weight and the method you're using to lose weight all come in to play. If you eat absolutely nothing to lose weight, that's unhealthy, no matter how fast or slow you're losing weight.
Long story short, if you're not sure, consult a doctor to see how much weight he/she thinks is safe for you.

I've been playing since late June/early July, somewhere around there.
I have lost 18 lbs without changing my diet. That's about 1.5 lbs a week, pretty much normal.
