Mini-meals means you eat a small snack every couple of hours so that you don't get hungry.
Oragina is right. If you add protein to your normal meals, it's easier to last longer. Both ways work if you watch WHAT you are eating.
Better?

The funny thing is I weight 308 but can beat every song in the game except paranoia survivor max oni steps... Good luck on meeting your weight loss goals! I just wanted to add that there have been a number of recent studies that analyze the effects of obesity vs fitness on the risk for heart disease. They tend to find, overwhelmingly, that fitness is the determining factor for cardiovascular health, not weight. The reason why weight is traditionally considered to be the number one risk factor for cardiovascular disease is, rather, because it's so highly correlated with poor fitness. That's not to say that weight loss isn't important (for cosmetic reasons, and also because of some risk for other diseases), but just to say that if your fitness is good then, well, you should be proud of yourself rather than just thinking it's a "funny thing"! ;D And also, of course, to anybody that's started DDR'ing to lose weight, and is succeeding in getting more fit but not in losing the weight, it's still a good, good thing that shouldn't be given up just because it doesn't have an immediate effect on weight! As Abrannan keeps, quite correctly, pointing out, reducing calories is the key to weight loss. But, imho, exercising is the key to good health. They aren't always the same thing!

As Americans, one of our problems is when we eat and what we do after we eat. In other countries, they eat their big meal during lunch and not at dinner. We tend to eat a huge meal around 6-7 pm and then watch TV and go to bed……..this is not good. This can also support the mini meal plan. By eating 5 smaller meals instead of 2 moderate and 1 huge meal at the end of the day is probably better.
