Well, tomorrow is my wedding, and I have lost 12 pounds. I even had to alter my dress ;D I'm still going strong and I have planned ahead to alow myself to eat a slice of cake at the wedding. After all, it is a once in a lifetime thing! Ahhh I couldn't be better. Thanks to everyone for their support. 98-123 pounds left to lose! Congratulations! For your special day, don't worry about calories, don't worry about what you should and should not eat. One day will not ruin you, and you deserve to enjoy that day to its fullest!

I'm sure he's pleased now...
I didn't really know where to put this. But at lunch I'm eating much better now... some sort of yogurt, peaches, some main entre (usually chicken strips or a 50% soy hamburger or something) a skim milk and 32 oz. of water. Hoorah. I've been losing weight but I don't weigh myself.

It's metaphorically like eating a brillo pad (NOTE: DO NOT EAT BRILLO PADS!) LOL!! I got quite a laugh out of that one. Are berries good fruits or bad fruits, as defined by South Beach?

LOL!! I got quite a laugh out of that one. Are berries good fruits or bad fruits, as defined by South Beach? Berries are good, very good. They're relatively low in sugar, and they're chock full of antioxidants. As all fruit, they're verboten in Phase I, but strongly encouraged in phase II. I've been making berry smoothies with plain low-fat low-sugar yogurt. If I had an ice-cream maker, I'd make forzen yogurt.

Hey Laura! Well, I have made some progress. I am 5 pounds lower than my wedding-weight 269 is still far far too high, but it is a lot better than 312! I feel like I am well on my way. Only 99-119 lbs left to lose now! Still a huge number, but it feels much more do-able now, especially since that first numer is under 100 now ;D My husband is incredibly supportive, and is very proud of me. We have been playing DDR together in the evenings, and it has made us both much more fit, as well as giving us something to giggle over The weight-loss is already effecting my disease, making it much more easy to manage. With any luck (and a lot of hard work) this will only get better and better! I am counting down to my first (of three) 50 pound weight-loss goals. I'm hoping to get there this month. Wish me luck!
