Hi Guys, I'm not in high school or college - in fact, I finished both probably before many of you were born... I just bought DDR today (Sunday, 8/1) and my 10 year old son and I are going to try to use it to lose some weight...my kids are too old for me to still look pregnant! I am looking forward to keeping up with you guys online. I am sure you will inspire me! Thanks!

Hey, not all of us are kids here. DDR is for adults too!
Best of luck to you both. I don't have any kids myself.

Hi all, I have two teenagers! I personally follow the french diet www.fatfallacy.com and use DDR and its fantastic! The "diet" is not a diet..so luxurious ie small portions but cheese, wine, chocolate and the DDR is so much fun its not like working out!!! Let us know how you do.

I'm a mom too of a 7 yr old and I lost 26 lbs with DDR and cutting back some calories.
Most of my friends in their upper 20's play it too ;D

I really think DDR is the wave of the future for OLDER adults..the kids are already with it. So much so that I wrote several articles on it for the diet site I work for. I just think its fantastic exercise..and so much fun its like playing not working out. I LOVE IT!

For the "older generation" indeed!
OK, I just had to share - I'm 49 and my 19-year old introduced me to DDR 10 months ago! I alwys loved aerobic dance exercise, so it felt like a natural! We play at the arcade together (as long as there aren't too many people around!) He's been a great coach and it's been a great time together.
So -- Moms, keep going and keep motivating your young kids!! (or vice versa!)

I was playing DDR on Xbox Live last week against a few kids. One of them asked me how old I was and I said I was 35. He replied, "Thirty-five! That's how old my mom is."
I said, "You see, if you weren't hogging the Xbox, you mom could be playing right now."
