At home, I keep a towel nearby and wipe my face off between songs. At the arcade, I thought that would be too weird, so I just ended up wiping my face off with my hands. I hate it when sweat gets in my eyes. It really hurts. laura.moncur.org/archives/2004/04/10/2004-04-10-05-00/

That's why you need a stylin' headband. Keeps the sweat out fo your eyes. I usually play with a large towel and full galss of water to keep me hydrated. My shirt usually is about a pound or two heavier from sweat when I'm done.

I used to think I could do it in anything I was wearing but now when I do it at home alone I just wear very thin baggy pants and a sportsbra, with the fan on, and with a cup of water nearby.

Yes, I cannot DDR without a headband. I hate how sweaty clothing gets...

My eyebrows are bushy, bushy eyebrows keep sweat out of your eyes I wear a t shirt and boxers, have to shower after every ddr.. I'd like to get a bath-robe and just ddr naked, then walk to the shower and shower so I dont have to waste a pair of clothes twice a day. There must be some better answer to this

There must be some better answer to this There is, lightweight poly-nylon clothing, also called travel clothing. It's light and airy, and it dries quickly. You can DDR in it, then rinse/wash it out in the shower, and it will dry out before your next DDR session. I can be a bit pricey, though.

Of course, there's always the washing machine. Doing laundry counts as exercise too.

I normally wear gym clothes... light vented shorts/pants, socks, and a light tshirt.
If I'm in an arcade, it's whatever I happen to be wearing at the time, unless I'm going specifically to play ddr. In that case, it's baggy, baggy jeans, a nice shirt, and a little kandy always looks kool ^^

Clothes I would run in if I was a runner (tank top, baggy nylon shorts, sports bra). And socks. Gotta keep the ddr pad in decent condition, they cost too much to replace due to bare foot scratches...

I'm a fan of capri-length loose cotton pants, a loose tshirt or a tank top, a sports bra (gotta contain the girls), either an ankle brace or some legwarmers, and bare feet. This is close to what I would wear in a modern dance class. It feels good to dance in something that isn't a leotard and tights, tho. ;D

I usually wear a pear of boxer shorts, since they are light already, and a baggy shirt and sports bra, and of course socks. My feet stick to the mat sometimes if I dont wear socks.

well, at my friends house i wore........my old Nintendo Power headband from 1991, a Legend of Zelda wrist band i got from Hot Topic. grey shorts, socks, and a Blaster Master t-shirt. (yes, i am a die hard nintendo fan-boy)
first time i played DDR....well, it wasnt really DDR, it was Stepmania, but he had a Dancepad hoked up to the PC.....damn i'm blabbering again...
anyway when i get my Dance Pads and DDRMAX2 fire it up in my Slim PS2 i'll probably be wearing nothing but a pair of boxers. (i'll be sure to close the blinds)

Old Nintendo is awesome. I managed to get ahold of one of the bright red hoodies with the logo on the front from Hot Topic (my bro works there, family discount woo!!!!).
