Have you checked that that's all that's offered? Both the USA mix and the Konamix have 3 settings for workout mode - the third one (normal on Konamix, #3 on USA) is the difficult (i.e. regular) setting. The first time I did the workout, not realizing this, it was insanely easy!

i have 4th mix... use work out mode.. but i put it on the heaviest setting...
i use work out mode because it is non-stop and i dont have to worrry about messing up...
i will add extra steps or sometimes just dance like mad ... whatever gets you moving will work for you...
check your heart rate...that is the only real way to tell...what is working for you... =)

You can change the difficulty on Workout mode. For me, I turn workout steps OFF (so it's exactly as it is in-game) and crank the difficulty up to Standard for most songs, Heavy for some. The only difference is that Freeze Arrow is turned off.......... But hey. By the way, I'm going to Otakon this year. I hope to lose plenty of weight by then, too. ^_^

Yeah you can. At least back in the days of JP 3rd mix. So I'm pretty sure you can do it for any of them. You just have to make sure it's on the right settings.

Its not REAL dancing, I want to learnt to tap dance -Oldhaus It can look like real dancing when you get all into it... when i play... i try and make it as if i were out in a club... get the arms moving...really get into the song... that is the best way for me to get a total body work out... just need to get the wrist weights =)
