My name is Damien. I am a code poet. I spend my days and nights coding websites....my aspirations are really right now about my health. Losing weight to feel better and to use that stamina to enjoy life more.
I am heavily into my family's history and I love to study our geneological records and study the crest of my family. One day I want to visit the ancestoral homes of my bloodline in Ireland.
I am also in the process of writing a sci-fi book that is very much like 2001 in that it is a journey of mankind. I am also writing a fantasy trilogy... I would like to see my books published one day...of course another goal is to actually finish writing these books.

hi! i'm amy and i feel like a total loser after reading everyone else's life goals and aspirations. i'm 19 years old and have spent this last year at a local community college taking basics. i was going to go to texas a&m to pursue a career in teaching mathematics, and then decided that it wasnt in my best interests. everyone was pressuring me to go; it wasnt what i wanted. basically-i dont know what i want to do yet. i work a part time job at a pizza joint to help pay for stuff, and still live at home. i enjoy playing video games waaaaaay too much. still, i enjoy intellectual stimulation and, b/c most of my close friends have moved away, i have basically become a hermit. so, yeah, i really liked a lot of the goals and dreams people have. esp the one about the island..that sounded really cool. what i really would love to do, is to work to change the world. sounds cliched, yes i know but i see whats wrong with the world and see this bleak, sad existance. i would just like to change one thing about it. so yeah thats me.

Amy, Don't be so hard on yourself.. Just because others want you to do something ( like going to a certain college) doesn't mean 'YOU' have to do it. I think you should do things at your own pace.. You're 19, not 29.. You have time to figure out what and who you'd want to be in the future.. I've been there before where most of my friends went to college out of state.. That never stopped me... To me, every person on the street is a conversation away from being a friend. So don't feel that you can't make new friends. . As for goals.. I'm sure you'll find yours. Don't rush yourself.. Just enjoy your time for now and Play Play play your video games...Rock on !! ;D

My long term goal is to become a film director/writer. My short term one is to finish the movie I'm writing right now. I'm saving up for a camera (Canon XL-2) and currently on the second draft of the script. I hope to shoot the movie in June, and then enter it into some festivals.

right now my goal is to get my butt back into the world of the living for starters. I have taken way to much time and come up with far to many excuses for not going after my dreams so now I am going to start doing what ever it takes to reach them.
my first goal is to get my book published, I am on chapter four of my manuscript, it has a long way to go so thats a long term goal.
get my first aid lev 3 certificate
next goal is to get a good paying job as a first aid atendant, hopefully up north a ways where the wages are better for somthing like that (saw an add the other day for 14 dollars an hour at 87 hours a week!)
save up enough money to take business management courses and acounting courses so I can open my own business.
open a video game studio, I dont just want to be a code jocky, I want to be the person running the show, deciding what games to make, how they should look and what genre they are going to be in.
and finally my most imedate goal... (drum roll please) PLAY DDR ULTRAMIX 3 ON STANDARD DIFFICULTY!
ya that last one is kinda lame but its still a goal.
best wishes all.

Why do I not have any life goals. I feel like I feel like I never wanted to do anything other than loose weight. But It feels like My life has went so fast since I dropped out of school when i was 16. Now I am 20 and still no goals no job or licenes whats wrong with me? I feel so bad now that I am this age and I suck at life.

Don't feel bad your still very young, If it makes you feel any better I'm 21, and I don't have a job or a drivers license either. I'm very shy, and that's a big problem for me.

your not alone belive me, my goals have formed over the last few weeks as I have been losing weight. I was incredably depressed for about the last three years, I didnt acomplish anything besides sitting around doing nothing. now that I am up working my body I am starting to find out that nothing is impossable. I am a very very shy person, I hate having people make fun of me and I have always been ashamed of my body but now I am signing up for rock climbing lessons, I am going swimming in public pools and I am taking a first aid course so I can finally get a job. I have a drivers licence but its only an "N" (Canadian Graduated licence) so its not a real licence, I havent gone for my full one yet because I have been to scared of failing and to tell you the truth I am afraid of driving, I dont like doing it, but I am making myself do it more to get over my fear and I am going to be scheduling my test for this summer to upgrade my licence.
losing weight is one of the best things you can do for your self esteme, it gives you a much better outlook on life. as for having a goal I am sure you have one, be it just to lose weight that is still a life goal, once thats acomplished you wont belive all the goals you come up with. just take it one day at a time, just let me know if you need anything.
best wishes all.
