Is it just me or are the Xbox versions coming ALOT faster than PS2 versions?...Cobalt Flux needs to get off their asses and friggin make a control box for the xbox. This is getting rediculous.

Just you, Max2, Extreme and Extreme2 are released at about the same times as UM 1, 2, and 3.
But yes, for as easy as it is to produce a control box, CF should have had a box out by now.

I dont know, it seems like it was longer between PS2 releases and Xbox releases. Might have been that I was so excited and couldn't wait seeing as I only owned a PS2 at the time. But now that I also own an Xbox...I am gonna jump on the band wagon and play online.
I am not too sure about buying a random converter or control box. I feel that CF should make their own NOW, so that they know will work with their flux pads and not have to worry about some generic control box not working or glitching up.

Quest mode does sound awesome. I just like my PS2 one better. Xbox DDR doesn't look the same... kinda knock-off... but I still want it x.x

Xbox DDR doesn't look the same... kinda knock-off... Actually, I like the way UM2 looks better than any of the PS2 games look. And UM1. UM2 has a cleaner look to it, and you have more room to see what arrows are coming up. And, the characters look less blocky on UM2 than on PS2 and UM1. I played on Max for over a year (albeit sporadically) before I played UM2, and I appreciate the change. (Um . . . does someone smell a fangirl?) Guess who will be camped outside of her local Gamestop or EBGames on the morning of the release date of UM3 . . . UJKitten |

Ok, DDR Extreme 2 wasn't the only one that got some new info! Credit www.gamespot.com/ps2/puzzle/ddrextreme2/preview_6131406.html for the new insight to the release! As for the Xbox's DDR Ultramix 3, the bulk of the content that was mentioned involved offline play. One of the big ones is freestyle mode, a section of the game where there are no set dance steps, and you can dance in a 3D environment however you choose. There's also a brand-new quest mode, which the producers referred to as an "RPG-light." In this mode, you'll be working to build the ultimate dance team, dealing with managers and all sorts of other drama as you go. The last new mode addition is the jukebox mode, where you can simply listen to any of the game's tracks without having to bother with that whole dancing thing. New on the Xbox Live front will be instant messaging and chat outside of normal gameplay, so you can talk to your friends when not engaged in the act of dance. Though an official song list for DDR Ultramix 3 was not provided, it was mentioned that the game would include tracks from major artists such as the Black Eyed Peas, Good Charlotte and Moby.Well, what songs would you people like from them? |

No, I'm not dead, but I almost danced myself to death when I got home with PIU! I am so stoked that the crappy pad that came with it doesn't even bother me.
I've already modded it with some leftover foam inserts from my Red Octane pad (it FINALLY died...).
Yippee!
Plus, I pre-ordered DDR UM3 and they gave me the free promotional music CD.
I'm in dancing heaven!
