Besides the dance games I'm always open minded for other active gaming. I got the oppertunity to review the bodypad, a piece of hardware where you totally take control of your character by using arms and legs. And believe me it was more exhausting then playing a dance game. Curious? Check this link to read the full review + intro movie: www.gamergirlsunite.com/content.php?review.110

i don't play very many fighting games ( try none, unless you count super smash brothers melee ), but that does look cool.

Looks interesting, but it also looks like it suffers from the same problems that former "whole body" controllers suffer. It really needs a dedicated game that was written for it to really shine. Otherwise you end up having to do odd motions with your body in order to get the response you want out of the character on the screen.

Before I received the bodypad, i wasn't either interested in the fighting games. Normally it was just buttonbashing on a normal controller, but with the bodypad it's a complete new experience which keeps me in good condition lately while playing Mortal Kombat. Regarding the whole body use, it's not neccesarly to move arms and legs. For example I've tested Fight Night Round 2, a boxing game, where I mostly use my arms only to control it
