Anyways, I can now FC I think I like that sound on Expert, pass Dawn by KaW on Expert with a 85% or higher, and I'm getting better at Bend Your Mind expert, with like an 85%.

Haven't even touched expert yet. Just cruisin' through on Medium and occasionally Hard. Not having much luck with anything over a 7 yet.

That's cool. Have you done No.1 Nation yet? It sounds almost like before Gwen stefani and No Doubt sold out. Also, did you know there is an unlock all code?

I've used the unlock code (last night, it made me feel... dirty) Skipped No. 1 Nation, it's not my fave song. The lyric edits are slaying me, though. I've been listening to the normal arcade versions of the songs for a few months now, and some of the lyric edits they had to do for the 'E' rating are just brutal. The PA Theme was massacred, Land of the Rising Sun couldn't even say "Oh, my sexy baby, you're drivin' me crazy". If I hadn't been listening to those songs, before, I might not notice (except PA theme, GAH!), but now it's throwing me off.

I have to unlock everything naturally...
I tried Oasis on Expert the other day... and it pretty much raped me.

hey I was wondering if I should get ITG or DDR extreme? Its a hard choice at this point, I like both and they are the same price at most game stores

My vote is for ITG. I was very disappointed with Extreme (See both of my reviews on this section fo the board). ITG is more customizable (can add or remove jumps, hands, etc), the longer songs make for a better workout, and I personally find the songs more enjoyable (though that's purely a matter of opinion). Extreme does have the mini games and the EyeToy support, if those are important to you.

my vote is for in the groove as well. overall, you will build more endurance and the music is more enjoyable. the ddr music can be fun, but a lot of the songs are totally corny and useless. i do love playing some songs on extreme (drop out, legend of max) but for the most part i find myself playing in the groove longer and there seems to be more of a likeable selection of songs.

the ddr music can be fun, but a lot of the songs are totally corny and useless. Unlike Crazy? ... everybody do the deedle doo dance...Most of the ITG music is good, though. If the choice is between ITG and Extreme US, I'd have to concur with the others and go with ITG. I think you'll just get more mileage out of it.

DDR Extreme... well... bites it hard.
The grading system is awful.
ITG all the way...

the import version of extreme is very very good, but the u.s. one is really a bunch of crap in my eyes. So even though I don't have ITG yet, I throw down the red flag over extreme and say go with ITG.

okay so I marched my arse into game stop and found the game hidden under another game. Those people who work at that store are the worst emplyees I've ever seen. They truely do not give one shite about a single soul who walks in.... or in my case - calls in.
it wasn't until I was looking at the various toys and making a small remark that I liked mcfarlaine toy's anime figurine runs, that one of these such upstanding young men seemed suddenly interested in talking to me by spouting off random info on toys claiming spawn toys were so great blah blah.
but oh well - I finally got the game out of it. I only played a little bit of it, and my first thought was that I thought there would actually be more mines and hands in the lower level songs... give you something to work with to practice on - or whatever. But sofar I really do love this game.
