I dunno, my MadCatz POS pad has held up through my onslaught of 8/9 footers quite nicely, the sucker just slides like no one's business!

try a madcatz universal mat it works really well. This really depends on your skill level. If you are up to 8/9 footers at HOME, then you should probably invest in a ignition style pad or metal pad...The generic soft pads are not designed to withstand the 8/9 footers...for very long. This is why the generic pads are GREAT for beginners, because they are not up to the 8/9 footers.

the ignition pad is one hundred times better than any plastic pad. i have 2 of them. they are really expensive but theyare awesome.

I love the redoctane pad. It's helped me play a lot more and dosen't hurt as much. I'd still someday like to step up to the metal dance pad! The first pad I had before this one was the crappy madcatz, and it broke after like a month. so I just took it back and exchanged it for a new one everytime it broke, then I Finally gave up on it breaking so I got the redoctane! =]

my MadCatz one is still holding up great. No problems, just a tear on the bottom, but that's nothing duct tape can't solve xD

ha ha. i just hope that the tape doesn't make it slide more. if it does, i'll just tape it to the floor too xD
