Which game for ps2 is your favorite? Max 1, 2 or Extreme? Personally, my fave is 2 but that's probably cuz that's the one I started with and learned the most from. Just wondering  |

Only having experience with Max2 and Extreme, I still think I like Max2 a little better.

Right now I am at school and do not know off the top of my head which I think is better. But soon as I get home I'll go through the songs and pick which one I like better. But I can tell you already that I prefer max/max2 over extreme. Will get back with you guys ASAP

Max2 over extreme for feel of game, though I like extreme better for variety of music and the different games due to the eye toy option.

I've been playing extreme all this week. I figured that I should at least try and get my money's worth from it. I've warmed up to it a lot. Though I still think max2 is a better game, I don't dislike extreme nearly as much as I did when I first got it.
Workout mode isn't as bad as I thought it was. It's just different from max2. If you can accept it for what it is, it's usable. The reward of being able to play in game mode makes me much more willing to be flexible with my goals and accept the extreme workout mode.
I do still think the songs, overall, are very weak compared to max2. But the unlockable songs have mostly been nice.

What ruins Extreme for me are the filler songs, as I like to call them. It's essential to have filler songs in a game, (songs that don't necessarily stick out.) Firefly, Pink Rose-wait, pretty much all the J-Pop on that game... Kids of America and especially Duran Duran are awful songs.
---and when is Bemani going to learn that we want some different 10 footers on US console games... i.e. Sakura, Bag, PSM(O).
Geesh.

I started out with DDR Max, but DDR Max 2 is my favorite. It's the game I like most of the songs on. Extreme is my second favorite, but I really hate not having practice mode!

I like DDR MAX 1. Here's why.
I started with it.
It has the best 8 and 9 footers, plus the orginal MAX - the remixes sound like CHEESE.
