I saw DDR Disney mix on ebay and I watched the item out of curiousity.. the final price was $91.00!!!! Now I love DDR... but I cant imagine Disney mix is soooo great that someone would pay 91 dollars for it. Someone confirm my suspicions that the person who won this auction is mentally insane... or am I just getting cheaper in my old age of 24!

Wow. You know how many DDR games you could buy for the price of just that one? At least 2. I know I would get the Disney Mix if I ever saw it at Gamestop or something, but $91? Wow. I'd save my money. People haven't rated it well and I can get a lot more for my money. If I do find it, I'm expecting to pay about $30 plus tax. That's how much the original DDR USA was. I wouldn't expect the Disney Mix to be much more. But, in the end, if I had the money to spend like that, I would probably do the same thing. Hey, speaking of getting the old games, why haven't they come out as greatest hits? I'm mad at that. Then we wouldn't have the trouble we are of finding the older mixes and having to pay well over than we should. I think Konami should rerelease the old songs on the new systems. I tried to play Konamix, but I'm so used to the smoother arrow scroll that the choppier scroll throws me off. It takes me at least 20 minutes to get used to it again. And then Max scroll makes my eyes bug out with it's smoothness.

It's more a matter of stuff going out of print and being limited. I have old 8-bit and 16-bit games I bought at the time for like $20 that are fetching over $100 on eBay right now -- and unlike most of those, which are the cartridge only, I've been diligent about saving the original boxes, instruction manuals, all that stuff.
None of it's for sale, though. I still play them regularly. ;D

well i guess i am just a cheap ass because i would never pay 91 bucks for a ps1 ddr game that has like 16 songs UNLESS mickey mouse himself popped outta my PS and danced on the ddr pad and showed me some catas:) . I even heard disney mix isnt even that great. Maybe when I am rich I will buy DDR Disney for everyone here on the forum. Until then... i dunno lol

The Disney Mix is fun and a great place to start for beginners - the Konamix really scared me when I was first starting. But I'm thinking now I should sell it and send my kid to college. ;-)

In all actuallity it truely is a fun game. And if had enough of my own money, I would buy it. I've played it at Disney Land in the TomorrowLand area, and it's free to play..... they just have really cruddy pads. The fact that you saw the gaame sell for $91 bucks isn't that hard to believe. DDR Disney Mix is a very rare game. There's someone I know, and here brother did have it.... but I don't know if he still has it. As I truelu love both Disney and DDR, this for me is a must have..... it just depends if anyone I know has it so I could bargain with them..... or I'll just wait until I have enough money to buy a game for more than $50. So it wasn't an odd thing to see, and it's a hot item on ebay. ;D

No, the baords are split by platform, not by game. All PS2 game threads are in the PS2 board. Those who have PS1 games can post here.

Why do people want Disney Mix so much that they'd pay more then $100 for it? It seems like a cool idea, but surely in the end DDR is DDR, is it not? This is a genuine puzzled newbie here!

1. It's rare. That attracts collectors, as owning it is a certain mark of how "hardcore" you are 2. It's songs that aren't included in any other DDR. 3. It has a battle mode that hasn't been seen since (with the possible exception of ITG)

Also there is the factor of Disneyana collectible things. I mean Disneyana is usually old stuff but someday it will to be really old. I mean there are hard core disney collectors out there. I am not one of them. I'd much sooner but the plug n play version they have now for my daughter if she wanted it.
