Not too much to report for now -- last week of school and graduation really took it out of me -- but my Light SDG count at home is up to 59 (63 if you count songs I've SDGed on both MAX and MAX2), I black flagged Bad Routine Light and Groove Light, and two new Light AAAs: more deep (ver 2.1) -- www.seanshannon.org/ddr/p5100001.jpgTomorrow Perfume -- www.seanshannon.org/ddr/p5130001.jpgOf course, then I had to go and bust my second Ignition Pad; the left and right pads are both sticking like crazy, the same problem I had with my first Ignition. And since I haven't been able to find the receipt for the first Ignition pad, I haven't been able to send it out to get replaced yet. Looks like a huge chunk of my graduation cash may be going for a metal pad ...

In all honesty you should try to look into getting the Official Konami Pad! Mine has withstood some harsh dancing! You might also want to get a dance pad cover, I didn't like mine at first, but they rock now. I can play in my shoes and not damage my pad.

are you talking about the soft pad? playing it with shoes? No, barefoot. I guess I'm just too fat. Seriously, I notice that about half an hour after play my pad gets very noticably warm, even though all my other electronics stay cool. It may just be the way I play or something. I unzipped the pad that just broke and took a look at it. It looks like on the top part there are two layers of electronics separated by a thin layer of foam, so I'm thinking that maybe I've just worn that foam out. With my father's help I'm going to try to replace that layer of foam and see if that helps. (And if it doesn't, I finally found the receipt for my first pad, so I'll be sending that for a replacement ASAP.)

I just got an A on Analyze on Standard. I've only been playing on a foot pad for a week so getting my first A on standard feels pretty good.
I also got an A on "Ready Steady Go" which is a 7 foot light, but i think that 7 feet is being a bit over-rated...the song was pretty easy.

I'm still around! In reply to SakuraMaster, I occassionally play in my shoes.
If I were just playing on my Konami Pad (without the pad cover) I would use my socks/feet. However with the dance pad cover (RedOctane sells them) I use my shoes.
I feel it gives me more of an arcade feel to it. Even though it's not metal, I don't think most people would be caught playing on a metal pad in socks.

I got all perfects on Luv To Me and got a D, thus disproving this silly AAA myth. You guys must be good at photoshop.

I passed Exotic Ethnic on Standard.
It was a big accomplishment for me. I'm pretty much getting all A's on Light so i decided to start working on the standard songs now.
